Leadership

Mr. Ken Leong is the Founder and CEO of Mursun. He develops the vision for the company, defines the missions and objectives, develops the business strategy and paths to profits, and establishes key partnerships with numerous companies, industrial players and Universities to achieve the objectives.

Prior to setting up Mursun, Ken had more than 30 years of experience in many fields including, but not limited to, strategic and operational planning, training, safety, project management, diplomacy, and public private partnerships (PPP).

​

Ken was the architect of several multi-billion-dollar PPP programs in the public sector. These programs introduced a new paradigm of having shared responsibilities through an optimal distribution of tasks and risks between public and private sectors. It also introduced new capabilities, increased effectiveness and efficiency, and resulted in better outcomes at lower cost.

Mr. Felix Zhu is the General Manager for Business Development. He is a seasoned senior executive with proven track records in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects in renewable energy, waste-to-energy, low carbon hydrogen, synthetic natural gas, low carbon ammonia, CCU and energy storage.

Felix was formerly the President of ThyssenSheikh.Inc where he formulated and implemented the company's overall strategy, organize discussions and decisions on the company's development plans, business direction and investment.

Mr. Tom Tong is the Chief Engineer. He is responsible for the technical evaluation and verification of our projects. He works closely with Project Manager on the technical aspects of the project.  

 

Mr Tong has more than 10 years of working experience in waste to energy technology development and project implementation.

Ms Helen Ng has nearly 20 years of experience in industrial operation management and investment and mergers and acquisitions. She has worked for large foreign industry groups such as South Korea's LG Corporation. She is mainly engaged in commodity futures, derivative transactions, industrial finance, etc., and has rich experience in supply chain operations and quality control management, with a deep understanding of the market-driven product commercialization.
